A smooth, curved tool that compresses clay walls, removes slip and refines the profile of a form. The studio set is packed for regular use at the bench, with a broader range of shapes than a starter box.
Curved edges follow a belly or a shoulder, and straight edges refine a cylinder or a bowl's foot. Keep the edge smooth; sand lightly if a nick appears, since a rough edge marks the clay.
