The short version

We collect what we need to take your order, deliver it, and answer your questions.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
Your card number goes to our payment provider, not to us.
You can ask us to show, correct or delete your information at any time by emailing support@sourceproductsco.store.

Who is responsible for your information

SourceProducts LLC, trading as Source Products Co., 7849 W 110th Ave, Westminster, CO 80021, is the business that decides how the information described here is used. You can reach us at support@sourceproductsco.store.

What we collect

Order details. Name, delivery and billing address, email address, a telephone number if you give one, and the items you ordered. Collected when you place an order.
Payment status. Whether a payment was approved and, at most, the card type and the last four digits. Collected when you pay. Your full card number and security code go to our payment provider and never to us.
Account details. Name, email address, a password (stored in scrambled form) and order history. Collected only if you create an account.
Messages. The content of emails you send us and our replies. Collected when you write to us.
Technical data. IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. Collected automatically whenever you visit the site.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies that the shop needs in order to work: one that keeps the contents of your bag, one that keeps you signed in if you have an account, and ones that protect the checkout. A further small item of browser storage remembers that you dismissed the cookie notice.

As of the date at the end of this page, we do not use advertising cookies, and we do not run third-party analytics or tracking scripts on the site. If that changes, we will update this policy before it does.

Why we use your information

To take, process, dispatch and deliver your order, and to handle returns and refunds.
To take payment and to prevent fraud, which includes checking that an order looks genuine.
To answer your questions and to resolve problems.
To keep accurate accounting and tax records and to meet our legal obligations.
To keep the website secure and working.

We share information only with the people who need it to do a job for us:

Our payment provider, to authorize and settle your card payment.
Delivery carriers, who receive your name, delivery address and, where the carrier needs it, your email address or telephone number.
Service providers that host the website and handle our email, under terms that restrict them to working for us.
Professional advisers and authorities, such as accountants, or where the law requires us to disclose information.

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Order and accounting records: as long as tax and accounting law requires, and no longer than seven years.
Messages to and from customer support: up to three years after the last message.
Account details: until you ask us to close the account.
Technical logs: for a short period, normally no more than 90 days.

Your rights

Residents of Colorado and of several other U.S. states have rights over their personal information under state privacy laws, including the Colorado Privacy Act. Whether or not a particular law applies to us, we handle every request in the same way and offer these rights to all customers:

To know whether we hold information about you, and to receive a copy.
To correct information that is wrong.
To ask us to delete information, subject to records we must keep by law.
To receive your information in a portable format.
To opt out of the sale of personal information, targeted advertising and profiling. We do none of these, so there is nothing to switch off.

How to make a request

Email support@sourceproductsco.store from the address on your order or account, and say what you would like.
We may ask you to confirm a detail from an order so that we release information only to the right person.
We answer within 45 days. If we need longer, we tell you why and we will take no more than a further 45 days.
If we decline a request, you can reply asking us to reconsider, and we answer that appeal within 45 days. If you are still not satisfied, you may contact the Colorado Attorney General’s office.

Security

The site uses encrypted HTTPS connections, access to customer records is limited to the people who need it, and card details are handled by our payment provider and not stored by us. No online service can promise absolute security, so please use a strong, unique password if you create an account.

Children

The shop is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, tell us and we will delete it.

Where information is processed

We serve customers in the United States and we process information in the United States.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we update the date at the end of this page. If the change is significant we will say so on the site.
